We didn't even get to the first gas stop before Jonny ran out of gas.

Cattle gates are a common obstical in Baja. Most of the time they aren't locked and you just have to open them up and reclose.

We ended up on private roads with nothing but private ranches and locked gates. This guy was pretty nice while telling us he didn't know how we got there but would have to go back the way we came.

My favorite hotel in Baja Norte. $10 a person with A/C, hot showers and clean.

The hotel also has a solid taqueria.
